Renault 5 E-Tech is a small electric hatchback. It sits in the B-segment with a five-door body style. It targets city and suburban drivers who want a compact EV with a familiar shape.

It uses a battery around 42 kWh usable. Official WLTP range is about 300 km. AC charging supports up to 22 kW. DC fast charging is up to 85 kW, enough to add significant range on highway stops.

Price is above basic city EVs but below larger compact EVs. It suits drivers who want easy parking, daily commutes, and short trips. Other Renault EVs include Renault Zoe and Megane E-Tech. Alternatives include Fiat 500 Electric and Peugeot e-208. Compared with the Peugeot e-208, the Renault 5 E-Tech has a similar range but a more retro design.
