The Lotus Emeya is gearing up for its grand debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show on November 17, 2023. As the second mass-produced electric vehicle (EV) from Lotus—following the successful Lotus Eletre SUV—the Emeya represents a major step in the brand’s transformation into an all-electric luxury performance marque.

Positioned to take on heavyweights like the Tesla Model S Plaid and Porsche Taycan, the Lotus Emeya blends blistering performance, cutting-edge technology, and elegant British design.

Performance and Power

At the heart of the Lotus Emeya lies extraordinary performance. The top-spec Emeya R+ variant delivers a staggering 675 kW (905 hp), launching from 0–62 mph in just 2.78 seconds. A more balanced AWD version will also be available, producing 450 kW (603 hp) while maintaining the sedan’s 4-door, 5-seat practicality.

The Emeya’s top speed is electronically limited to 159 mph, ensuring supercar-like thrills with everyday usability.

Battery and Charging

Built on an advanced 800V electric architecture, the Lotus Emeya supports ultra-fast DC charging—adding up to 112 miles of range in only 5 minutes using a 350 kW charger.

It houses a 102 kWh battery pack from CATL, giving it a competitive driving range while keeping the overall weight at 2,565 kg. Despite its heft, the Emeya promises a perfect balance of performance and efficiency.
