The innovative design of the Polestar Synergy electric supercar was on display at the IAA Mobility 2023 in Munich. The supercar is more than just another fast car. Instead, it’s a remarkable synthesis of three winning entries from the most recent Polestar Design Contest.
Enter Parisian exterior designers Devashish Deshmukh and Swapnil Desai. Deshmukh drew inspiration for his design from the ocean, specifically the hammerhead sharks. Desai, on the other hand, opted for technical advancements and materials that don’t just last but age with elegance, alluding to a theme of lasting emotional impact. Yingxiang Li of China came up with a design where the driver doesn’t sit, but rather floats, inside the vehicle. The individual seat design promotes peak performance by striking a balance between comfort and command.
Polestar Synergy design
Polestar Synergy is a visual feast from start to finish. It has a length of 4,559.3 mm, a height of 1,069.3 mm, and a width of 1,069.3 mm, all of which are proportions and details that scream innovation. Although the manufactural has always produced stylish products, Polestar Synergy appears to be in a class of its own.
The future of this model wonder is uncertain. Those of you in the United States are in luck. After making its debut in Europe, the Synergy will head to El Segundo, California, for the Hot Wheels Legends Tour on October 7, 2023. The car will soon be seen in a number of Polestar showrooms across the country.
Polestar’s head of design, Maximillian Missoni, noted the unusualness of the situation. This kind of attention is extremely unusual for young designers, especially students. The brand’s Instagram followers, who are avid participants in design discussions, have elevated this one-of-a-kind partnership to new heights.
Polestar is holding an additional trump card. The brand’s partnership with Mattel’s legendary Hot Wheels toy line is a pleasant surprise. The goal of this group is broader than making model versions of real automobiles. This year’s Polestar Design Contest will celebrate Hot Wheels’ 55-year legacy. The convergence of these brands could result in an innovative new product.
