The SU7, equipped with a single motor, boasts an impressive 220 kW (295 hp) powertrain. United Automotive Electric Systems, a renowned joint venture between the prestigious companies Bosch and Zhonglian Automotive Electronics, expertly crafts this remarkable motor. When these two mighty motors join forces, they unleash a jaw-dropping combined power of 660 hp.

The SU7 is equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, which are sourced from FinDreams, an affiliate of BYD. Li-ion ternary batteries made by CATL are present in the SU7 Pro and SU7 Max. The rumored architecture for Xiaomi’s SU7 is said to be utilizing an impressive 800V design. The inclusion of an optional roof-mounted LiDAR system serves to enhance various features, such as autonomous driving capabilities.

According to reports, it has been stated that Xiaomi is set to commence large-scale production of the SU7 in the month of December, aiming for a scheduled release of the vehicle in February of the year 2024, potentially coinciding with the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event.
