The Polestar 4 has officially launched in the United States, marking a major milestone for the Swedish EV brand. Orders will open in late April, with prices starting at $54,900 for the entry-level Long Range Single Motor variant. The Long Range Dual Motor AWD version, which includes the standard Pilot Pack, will start at $62,900.
Deliveries for the Polestar 4 are expected to begin in Q4 2025, likely around October. Note that all prices exclude a $1,400 destination fee.
Polestar 4 Pricing and Market Position
Polestar had previously estimated the Polestar 4 price at around $60,000, so the confirmed $54,900 starting price is a pleasant surprise. This pricing puts it in a highly competitive segment, where it will face off against rivals like the Tesla Model Y, Ford Mustang Mach-E, and BMW iX.

Design and Interior Highlights
Polestar calls the Polestar 4 “a new breed of SUV coupe,” offering the space of an SUV with the aerodynamics of a coupe. Interestingly, despite its name, the Polestar 4 sits between the Polestar 2 and Polestar 3 in both size and price.
One standout design choice is the absence of a rear window. Instead, Polestar replaced it with an HD display that streams live footage from a roof-mounted rear camera, providing a wider field of view than traditional mirrors.
Technology and Infotainment
The Polestar 4 infotainment system runs Android Automotive OS on a 15.4-inch landscape touchscreen. It comes equipped with:
- Google Assistant
- Google Maps
- Google Play
Standard features also include a panoramic glass roof, adaptive cruise control, 360-degree 3D parking camera, heat pump, and digital key access.
The Polestar 4 combines futuristic design with advanced technology and a competitive price tag. Its blend of SUV practicality and coupe styling, along with Polestar’s signature minimalist aesthetic, positions it as one of the most intriguing electric vehicles of 2025.
With deliveries set to begin later this year, the Polestar 4 could become a strong contender in the premium EV market—especially for buyers seeking innovation, performance, and Scandinavian design.
