Aqua superPower Launches Aqua 75 DC Fast Charger on Lake Garda, Pioneering Italy’s Electric Boating Future
At the esteemed Nautica Feltrinelli shipyard on Italy’s Lake Garda, Aqua superPower, the world’s top supplier of marinized dockside fast-charging infrastructure for electric boats, formally unveiled its Aqua 75 DC fast charger. This innovative installation, which is the first marine fast charger on the lake, lays the groundwork for a smooth corridor of electric boats across one of the most picturesque inland waterways in Europe.
In order to facilitate zero-emission cruising across Lake Garda and further Italy’s growing commitment to sustainable marine mobility, a second Aqua 75 DC fast charger is already planned for installation on the opposite eastern bank in Lazise.

Nautica Feltrinelli: A Legacy of Italian Nautical Excellence
Nautica Feltrinelli, a symbol of Italian ingenuity and craftsmanship since 1919, is situated in Gargnano on the western shores of Lake Garda. Mauro and Dino Feltrinelli, brothers, are currently in charge of the shipyard, which was established by the Feltrinelli family, whose maritime history dates back to the 17th century.
Nautica Feltrinelli is the sole Italian importer of Austrian luxury boat manufacturer Frauscher, offering both conventional and electric boats for sale, rental, restoration, and winter storage. It is the ideal partner for Aqua superPower’s sustainable vision because of its unique blend of innovation and tradition.
Aqua 75 DC Fast Charger: Powering the Future of E-Boating
Electric vessels can recharge from 20% to 80% in as little as 45 minutes thanks to the recently installed Aqua 75 DC fast charger, which uses the CCS standard to deliver up to 75 kW of power. The system, which was created for Lake Garda’s harsh freshwater environment, guarantees dependable and safe operation in any weather.
Numerous models of electric boats, including Frauscher’s sophisticated e-power line, are compatible with this brand-neutral charging station. Boaters can now enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Lake Garda without any emissions or noise pollution thanks to the removal of range anxiety.
Providing convenience and assurance for every journey, Aqua superPower’s in-house cloud management platform and mobile app let users process payments, keep an eye on charger availability, and access real-time data.
Frauscher Autumn Open Doors: Celebrating the Electric Revolution
On October 11–12, 2025, the Frauscher Autumn Open Doors event, held at Porto San Carlo, marked the public debut of the new Aqua 75 DC fast charger. Boat enthusiasts were invited to test-drive the newest electric models from Frauscher, which are powered by the Aqua 75 charger. During their silent, emission-free journey, visitors witnessed firsthand how fast charging and electric propulsion work in perfect harmony.
“This first charger on Lake Garda is a pivotal moment for sustainable boating in Italy,” said Michele Bolpagni, Country Manager Italy for Aqua superPower. “Our collaboration with Nautica Feltrinelli honors tradition while driving the electric revolution. With the Lazise installation coming soon, zero-emission adventures will soon be possible across the entire lake.”
Mauro Feltrinelli, CEO of Nautica Feltrinelli, added, “We’re proud to combine our heritage with Aqua superPower’s innovation. The Aqua 75 DC fast charger allows our clients to explore Lake Garda responsibly and effortlessly.”
Showcased Alongside Porsche and Frauscher Innovations
On October 10th, the charger was also showcased at the exclusive Porsche VR-BS Event (Verona–Brescia), where guests got to see the new Macan Turbo Electric in addition to Frauscher x Porsche’s 850 Fantom and Fantom AIR boats. The occasion highlighted Lake Garda’s expanding role in electric mobility by celebrating the harmony of luxury, innovation, and sustainability.
A Sustainable Destination for Electric Boating
Feltrinelli Shipyard provides full-service solutions, such as boat storage, maintenance, and engine servicing, in addition to charging infrastructure. This vision is complemented by the neighboring Residence San Carlo, a photovoltaic-powered sustainable tourism complex that offers eco-friendly lodging and access to Frauscher electric boat rentals for a memorable Lake Garda experience.
Aqua superPower’s Broader Mission
Between 2022 and 2028, the European electric boat market is anticipated to expand at a 13.2% CAGR, reaching a market value of £4.4 million. By creating a strong and interconnected charging ecosystem for both commercial and recreational electric boats, Aqua superPower’s Lake Garda initiative facilitates this expansion.
With networks successfully established in the UK, Europe, the Nordics, and the US, Aqua superPower’s entry into the Italian market is a significant step toward a more environmentally friendly maritime future where the Aqua 75 DC fast charger serves as the focal point of the electric boating revolution.
