BAIC’s Arcfox Alpha T5 has officially entered pre-sale, featuring six new variants priced between 123,800 and 162,800 yuan (about $17,300–$22,800 USD). The biggest highlight of this launch is the introduction of an Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) version powered by a 1.5L range extender system, offering a pure electric range of 215km (CLTC).
Upgraded Powertrain and Range
Significant improvements have been made to the Arcfox Alpha T5’s pure electric models. Depending on the battery configuration, buyers can now enjoy a maximum range of 705 km (CLTC). Options for power output include:
185 kW (248 hp) or 200 kW (268 hp) single-motor setups
Peak torque: 320 N·m and 360 N·m
Battery capacities: 64.8 kWh to 79.2 kWh
Ranges: 560km, 660km, and 705km
The EREV version delivers 365 N·m of torque and 0–100 km/h in 6.5 seconds by combining a 200 kW motor with a 1.5L range extender (77 kW). It has a total driving range of up to 1,215 km and 215 km of pure electric range.

The Arcfox Alpha T5 retains its modern exterior with a closed front grille and triangular LED headlights. Dimensions are:

L2 autonomous driving is standard on all Alpha T5 models. The Qualcomm 8775 chips found in higher trims allow for smart parking assistance and urban/highway NOA (Navigation on Autopilot).
