XPeng has revealed some teaser shots for its future G7 SUV. The first spy shots of the upcoming Model Y leaked earlier today, prompting comparisons on Weibo to the XPeng G6, the G7’s current counterpart.
According to an XPeng executive, the G7 aspires to be the most competitive vehicle in the CNY 250,000 ($34,000) pricing bracket, whatever that means. We expect the car to have better specs than the Model Y at a little lower pricing.
XPeng naturally thinks the G7 looks fantastic. It has AI features and is still considered a “space monster” like the G6 and P7+ sedan. This means it will be a great alternative for families.
Unfortunately, XPeng hasn’t given any other information on the G7, but those will undoubtedly be released later, so stay tuned.
