Zeekr has officially announced their latest EV, the Zeekr 7X SUV. This new model, geared at the family car market, debuted at the Chengdu auto show and is scheduled to enter Chinese roads by the end of September, with global deliveries due sometime next year.
Zeekr 7X Models
The Zeekr 7X comes in both single and twin motor variants. The 7X has a 310 kW silicon carbide electric motor on the rear axle and a 165 kW motor on the front axle. This allows for a quick acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds.
The SUV has an 800 V high-voltage architecture and two battery options: a 75 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery with a CLTC range of 376 miles and a 100 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery pack with a range of 485 miles. Zeekr claims that their LFP battery has the world’s quickest charging time, going from 10% to 80% in 10.5 minutes.

The Zeekr 7X pre-sale pricing starts at RMB 239,000 ($33,680). The 7X is a midsize SUV based on Geely’s SEA platform, measuring 190 inches in length, 76 inches in width, and 65.2 inches in height, with a wheelbase of 115.2 inches.
The SUV’s design language is named “Hidden Energy,” and it has a flowing front end with the Zeekr Stargate interactive LCD, which can display messages and photos.
The 7X’s interior has a floating infotainment screen, an LCD instrument panel, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 CPU to power it all. Rear passengers get airline-style tray tables, while higher-spec versions include rear entertainment displays and heated/ventilated seats.
The ADAS features include dual Nvidia Orin-X SoCs, LiDAR, HD cameras, and mmWave radars. The inside features 32 storage compartments and a spacious 21.8 ft³ trunk.
