VinFast VF 3 small SUV has begun delivery in Vietnam. The EV costs VND 322 million ($12,800) with the battery included, but buyers may purchase a VinFast VF 3 for only VND 235 million ($9,250) through the company’s battery subscription scheme.

VinFast sells its affordable small SUV through a battery subscription system, which cuts the vehicle’s initial cost but incurs monthly expenses. VinFast retains ownership of the battery, and the consumer receives a subscription plan for as long as they possess the car.
The VF 3 proved to be highly popular in Vietnam, with 27,649 pre-orders in just 66 hours, shattering the previous local record.
Shipments have already begun, with the business aiming to ship at least 20,000 units by the end of the year and 80,000 total vehicle deliveries by the end of 2024.

The VF 3 is also expected to launch worldwide. The Philippines is the first country to receive the small SUV, with Europe, Southeast Asia, and the United States to follow in 2025.
