The Davido Collectible is a limited-edition electric motorcycle developed by Spiro, Africa’s largest EV company, in collaboration with Afrobeats artist Davido, who serves as a brand ambassador and strategic partner. It sits in the premium lifestyle segment of the electric two-wheeler market — not a workhorse commuter bike, but a power bike built for urban riders who want performance specs alongside connected features. The body is a standard upright motorcycle configuration with a sport-forward stance, finished with LED projectors and a signature aesthetic tied to the Davido brand.
The Davido Collectible is powered by an NMC-based battery and delivers a claimed range of 250 km on a single charge. The motor produces 12 kW and 320 Nm of torque, with a 0–40 km/h sprint taking under four seconds and a top speed of 130 km/h. Battery capacity in kWh has not been disclosed by Spiro. Charging options include home overnight charging as the primary method for private users, with Spiro’s public fast-charge network — capable of serving six to eight riders simultaneously — available across major cities. A full charge takes approximately one hour. A 7-inch touchscreen with TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and CBS (Combined Braking System) round out the onboard tech stack, alongside wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Spiro prices its electric motorcycles at around ₦1.75 million including the bike, battery, and charger — though the Davido Collectible, as a limited-edition premium unit, is positioned above that baseline. The bike targets the urban elite and style-conscious professionals rather than commercial boda-boda operators. Within Spiro’s lineup, it sits above the Alpha+ by Davido — a slightly less powerful model with a 105 km/h top speed and 100 km range — and the workhorse Spiro Ekon 450M1, which tops out at 85 km/h with an 80 km range. Riders considering alternatives in the African electric motorcycle space can look at the ROAM Air out of Kenya or Ampersand‘s commercial platform in Rwanda, both of which prioritize battery-swap infrastructure over outright performance. Against its closest direct rival in the lifestyle segment, the Vmoto Rawrr Mantis, the Davido Collectible holds an edge in range but trails in outright global brand recognition and aftermarket support.
